Pepperoncini Beef

- 3-4lb top round roast, trimmed of fat shopping list
- 1 jar sliced hot pepperoncinis, including pickling juice shopping list
- 1/2c white vinegar shopping list
- 1-1/2 - 2c water shopping list
- 1pkg Good season Italian dressing mix* shopping list
- *to make your own (low-sodium) mix: shopping list
- 2T dried oregano shopping list
- 1T each: dried parsley, onion powder & lemon pepper (opt) shopping list
- 1/2T each: garlic powder & sugar (or splenda) shopping list
- 1t each: black pepper, dried basil, red pepper flakes shopping list
- 1/4t each: dried thyme & celery salt shopping list
How to make it
- Pat beef dry with paper towels and sear in a hot skillet with alittle oil or cooking spray (this step is optional but it's well worth it).
- Once the beef has cooled slightly combine all ingredients in a gallon sized ziploc.
- Refrigerate 8 hours or overnight to marinate.
- Add all ingredients to slow-cooker and cook on low 6-7 hours until desired doneness.
