How to make it

  • In a large mixing bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Beat in the sour cream and vanilla. Fold in the whipped topping. Spread 1/2 of the mixture evenly into the crust.
  • Fold cocoa and confectioner's sugar into the remaining cream cheese mixture and spread carefully over the first layer. Refrigerate at least 4 hours before serving.
  • Cut into slices. When serving, top each slice with cherry pie filling. Refrigerate leftovers.
