- salt shopping list
- pepper shopping list
- granulated garlic powder shopping list
- 3 cloves of garlic, minced shopping list
- Fresh chopped parsley shopping list
- 1/2 cup of panko bread crumbs shopping list
- 1/4 cup of grated parmesan cheese shopping list
- 6 tilapia fillets shopping list
- Additional 2 tablespoons of butter if desired shopping list
How to make it
- Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees. Rinse tilapia fillets and pat dry. Place fillets in baking dish lined with foil. Add salt, pepper, and garlic powder to each side of fillets. Squeeze lemon juice over fillets. (to maximize the juice in the lemon place in microwave for 30 sec). Heat sauce pan on med. and melt butter. Add in garlic and shallots into butter and saute a bit. Remove from heat before garlic starts to brown. Pour butter sauce over fillets. Then sprinkle with bread crumbs and cheese. Top off with fresh chopped parsley ( I like to use Italian or a flat leaf type).Cut the used lemon into chunks and place in baking dish. You can also put a couple extra globs of butter in the dish if you wish. This will melt in the oven and prevent fish from sticking See Photo. Place in oven for 25-30 min. Then put broiler on for last 2 or 3 minutes to brown the top.
Ready for the oven.
