Beer Bread

- 3 c. self-rising flour (sifted or unsifted) shopping list
- 1 T. sugar shopping list
- 1 12-oz bottle or can of beer, room temperature shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- Mix flour and sugar. Pour in beer and mix well. Batter will be slightly stiff. Put into greased loaf pan and bake for 1 hour. Serve warm.
- Note: Unsifted flour gives a chewier texture. Well-sifted flour gives and more cake-like texture.
