Fluffy Frosting

- Serves frosts 1 cake
Here's a frosting that tastes almost like whipped cream... but has a fuller mouth feel and is much, much richer. It uses granulated sugar instead of confectioners' sugar.
Ingredients
- 2 sticks of butter or margarine --OR-- 1 stick of butter and 1/2 c. all-vegetable shortening shopping list
- 1 c. granulated sugar shopping list
- 4 oz. evaporated milk, chilled shopping list
- 2 tsp. vanilla shopping list
How to make it
- Put all ingredients in a bowl and beat until light and fluffy, about 30 minutes.
- Frosts sides and top of a 2-layer cake or a 9"x13" cake.
