Gazpacho

- 6 ripe tomatoes, chopped shopping list
- 1 onion, finely chopped shopping list
- 1 cucumber, peeled, seeded, chopped shopping list
- 1 sweet red or green bell pepper seeded and chopped shopping list
- 2 stalks celery, chopped shopping list
- 1-2 Tbsp chopped fresh parsley shopping list
- 2 Tbsp chopped fresh chives shopping list
- 1 clove garlic, minced shopping list
- 1/4 cup red wine or balsamic vinegar shopping list
- 1/4 cup olive oil shopping list
- 2 Tbsp freshly squeezed lemon or lime juice shopping list
- 2 teaspoons sugar shopping list
- salt and fresh ground pepper to taste shopping list
- 6 or more drops of Tabasco sauce to taste shopping list
- 1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce (omit for vegetarians) shopping list
- 4 cups tomato juice shopping list
How to make it
- Combine all ingredients into a blender.
- Blend slightly, to desired consistency.
- Place in non-metal, non-reactive storage container, cover tightly and refrigerate overnight, allowing flavors to blend.
