How to make it

  • Make a dough using soda (rather than water) to chapati consistency. If you want you can keep it aside for half an hour. Make small balls of the dough and roll it in to a chapati. You can use a katori to cut it in to small puri's. Or else you can make small balls and roll it into tiny puri's. Fry in very hot oil and store in airtight container when cool

  • If you are using water to make the dough you can add 1/4tsp of baking soda

    Thanks for sending in this recipe. I am so fascinated with Pani Puri.... and they seem like they can be so versatile and a Fun thing to make and eat too of course. I saw some place online that sells a press to flatten the puri, looks like a fun thing for the grandkids to help with as I am sure they will eat them up as well after cooking them.
