How to make it

  • In medium bowl, mix egg, breadcrumbs, scallion, seasonings, mayonnaise, horseradish, pimento's and Worcestershire. Add crabmeat and mix gently, but thoroughly.
  • Shape into 6 cakes.
  • On medium heat in non stick frying pan, add 2 T oil, cook cakes for about 5 minutes on each side or until golden brown, adding more oil if needed.
  • Note: Can be served on a roll with lettuce and tomato, or as part of a platter with fried clams and shrimp, with fresh lemon slices.
  • Condiments such as Dill/Lemon sauce, Tartar Sauce or Hot Sauce work really well with these cakes.
