How to make it

  • Heat oil in wok over medium fire. When warm, stri-fry 4 ginger slices for 15 sec. Add chicken & fry till golden brown for 10 mins. Dish up chicken & ginger, Set aside.
  • Pour beer or ginger ale into a cooking pot. Add remaining ginger slices & red dates. Mix well. Turn fire to high.
  • Add chicken, ginger slices & sesame oil. Stir & bring to boil. Once boiling, turn fire to low & allow to simmer for 30 mins.
  • Season with chicken stock garnules. garnish with coriender leaves & serve with white rice.
