How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 375
  • Puffs:
  • In saucepan combine water butter and salt
  • Bring to a boil over high heat
  • Add flour all at once
  • Stir mix vigorously about 1 minute or until mix leaves sides of pans and forms into a ball
  • Remove from heat right away
  • Add eggs and whisk until smooth and very thick
  • Lightly spray a mini muffin pan
  • Use a small scoop and put batter into pan slots
  • Bake 22-25 minutes (While cooking make filling)
  • Remove from heat and make small cut into each puff to release steam
  • Cool completely
  • Filling:
  • Combine the whipped topping and powdered sugar
  • Use a accent decorator to pipe into center of each puff
  • For topping melt the frosting and drizzle over top. Sprinkle nuts over top if desired
  • *Can freeze and thaw 15 minutes before serving*
