How to make it

  • Rub the inside of your frying pan with a cut onion. Put in the butter and let it get hot. Then add the meat, potatoes, salt and pepper, having them well mixed. Moisten the whole with the cream, spread evenly and place the pan so that the hash can brown slowly and evenly underneath. When done, fold over and tunr out on the platter. You can do the browning in the oven if you prefer.
