How to make it

  • Cut butter into tiny pieces.
  • Toss bread cubes, apples, and butter together in a mixing bowl
  • Whisk together rest of ingredients and pour over bread mixture. Let sit in refrigerator for 1 hour.
  • Pour into a 1 1/2 quart baking dish
  • Bake at 325° for 45 - 60 minutes until pudding is firm.
  • Tasty if served warm with vanilla or cinnamon ice cream!

    Bread Pudding is one of my favorite desserts.

    Great recipe! What I do with the bread no one eats, like the ends, or stale rolls etc., I keep freezing them until I get enough assorted breads, to make a nice size casserole of bread pudding.
