How to make it

  • Preparation:
  • Heat 3 inches of oil in medium size saucepan to 350 degrees.
  • In large bowl, add flour, salt, pepper and parsley.
  • Dredge calamari rings, shaking off excess flour.
  • Carefully drop a handful at a time into hot oil for about a minute or until light golden brown.
  • Remove with large slotted spoon, drain on paper towel, salt while still hot and serve immediately.
  • Note; Serve with Marinara Sauce
