Fried Calamari

- Ingredients: shopping list
- vegetable oil for frying shopping list
- 1 lb calamari, cleaned and cuts into rings shopping list
- 2 cups flour shopping list
- 1-2 T. salt shopping list
- 1 T.pepper shopping list
- 1 T.parsley shopping list
How to make it
- Preparation:
- Heat 3 inches of oil in medium size saucepan to 350 degrees.
- In large bowl, add flour, salt, pepper and parsley.
- Dredge calamari rings, shaking off excess flour.
- Carefully drop a handful at a time into hot oil for about a minute or until light golden brown.
- Remove with large slotted spoon, drain on paper towel, salt while still hot and serve immediately.
- Note; Serve with Marinara Sauce
