How to make it

  • Heat oven to 350 degrees Lightly coat an 8x8 inch baking pan with cooking spray or butter
  • Pulse walnuts in a food processor until finely chopped ( I prefer to have mine a little chunky) Place in a large mixing bowl.
  • Add the sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder and salt. Whisk to combine.
  • Whisk together eggs, sour cream, oil and vanilla in another little bowl.
  • Make a well in dry ingredients and whisk wet into dry to combine.
  • Heat chocolate chips in a small saucepan over medium heat, stirring constantly until the chocolate has all melted. Whisk into batter.
  • Pour batter into the pan and bake until a toothpick comes out clean in the middle. About 20 - 25 minutes.
  • Cool completely and eat :)
