Nutty Brownies ( Gluten Free)

- 3/4 cup walnuts shopping list
- 3/4 cup white sugar shopping list
- 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder shopping list
- 1/2 tsp baking powder shopping list
- 1/2 tsp salt shopping list
- 3 large eggs, lightly beaten shopping list
- 1/2 cup sour cream ( I use full fat) shopping list
- 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil shopping list
- 2 tsp vanilla extract shopping list
- 1/2 cup bittersweet chocolate chips shopping list
How to make it
- Heat oven to 350 degrees Lightly coat an 8x8 inch baking pan with cooking spray or butter
- Pulse walnuts in a food processor until finely chopped ( I prefer to have mine a little chunky) Place in a large mixing bowl.
- Add the sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder and salt. Whisk to combine.
- Whisk together eggs, sour cream, oil and vanilla in another little bowl.
- Make a well in dry ingredients and whisk wet into dry to combine.
- Heat chocolate chips in a small saucepan over medium heat, stirring constantly until the chocolate has all melted. Whisk into batter.
- Pour batter into the pan and bake until a toothpick comes out clean in the middle. About 20 - 25 minutes.
- Cool completely and eat :)
