How to make it

  • Place chicken in a large baking dish. Season with salt and pepper. Bake 30 minutes in 400 degree oven. Meanwhile drain pineapple reserving 2 tablespoons of the juice.
  • Combine juice, 57 sauce, and honey. Pour over chicken. Bake an additional 25 minutes. Baste occasionally.
  • Arrange pineapple slices over chicken and bake 10 minutes longer. Drain excess fat from the sacue. Spoon over chicken.

    i really like teriyaki chicken and make it often, in fact it is a "go to recipe" when i don't know what else to make. Japanese style teriyaki, korean style teriyaki, spicy teriyaki chicken with chilli pepper flakes, orange teriyaki,etc. but i don't remember ever seeing it with heinz 57 sauce and that sound like it would be very good....i got to try that!
