How to make it

  • Put butter, sugar, brown sugar, molasses, corn syrup, cinnamon, ginger and cloves into a heavy saucepan. Cook over moderate heat to 280 degrees F on a candy thermometer. Pour over the popped corn, walnuts and apples. Shape into balls.

    Oh boy!! Just like the good old days. I remember looking forward to Mrs. Wagner's popcorn balls every Halloween. Seems like these days you don't get to do things like that because folks don't know and trust their neighbors. Can I trick or treat at your sister's because I sure would like a treat like this :)
