- 1/2 pound Cooked Ham, diced shopping list
- 2 (16 ounces) bag Split Peas, rinsed shopping list
- 2 large Carrots, coarsely chopped shopping list
- 2 large Celery stalks, chopped shopping list

- 2 Garlic Cloves, chopped shopping list
- 10 cups Chicken Stock shopping list
- 1 Bay Leaf shopping list
- 1 teaspoon Dried Thyme Leaves shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon Coarse Salt or to taste shopping list

- 1. Combine all the ingredients in a large, heavy stockpot. shopping list
- 2. Bring to a boil over high heat. shopping list
