Roasted Pears And Red Onions

- 4 med. pear,semi ripe,quartered and cored shopping list
- 1 large red onion,cut in 8 wedges shopping list
- 2 TB unsalted butter,melted shopping list
- 2 TB sherry vinegar shopping list
- coarse salt shopping list
- fresh ground black pepper shopping list
- 2 sprigs rosemary shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 425.
- In a 9x13" baking dish,toss pears and onions with butter and sherry vinegar. Season with salt and pepper.
- Arrange pears and onions in single layer (should fit snugly in dish) and top with 2 sprigs rosemary.
- Cover dish tightly with foil and bake until pears begin to soften,20 mins. Uncover and bake until pears are golden brown on bottom and tender when pierced with knife,15-20 mins more. Sprinkle with fresh rosemary leaves,if desired. Serve warm or room temperature.
