Fajita Seasoning Mix

A spice mix to use for seasonig chicken, pork or beef. This makes enough for about one pound of meat. If you don't feel like chopping onions and garlic, substitute the powdered versions. I like to use this to season refried beans.
Ingredients
- 2 tsp sweet paprika shopping list
- 2 tsp ground cumin shopping list
- 1 tsp dried oregano leaves (Mexican, if you can get it) shopping list
- 1 tsp salt, shopping list
- 1/4 tsp black pepper shopping list
- 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped shopping list
- 1 small onion, finely chopped shopping list
- optional, cayenne pepper to taste shopping list
- 1/4 cup olive oil shopping list
- juice of 1 lime shopping list
How to make it
- Mix all ingredients together. Mix with the meat of your choice and let marinate ca. 1 hour.
- Grill or fry in a hot pan. Use for fajitas or as a filling for chimichangas..
