How to make it

  • Melt 6 squares of the almond bark. In a medium bowl, beat cream cheese, confectioners sugar, nutmeg and extract in large bowl with electric mixer on medium, mix until well blended and smooth. Add melted almond bark, beat well until well mixed. Cover and chill 4 hrs or until firm.
  • Shape into balls ( about 3/4 in ). Place on wax paper-lined tray. Refrigerate til ready to dip.
  • Coat only 12 truffles at a time. Melt the 3 squares of almond bark. Dip truffles in one at a time into melted bark covering it. Place on wax paper-lined tray. Repeat step with remaining truffles and bark. Sprinkle nutmeg on top if desired.
  • Refrigerate 1 hr or until bark has set. Store truffles between layers of wax paper in airtight container in refrigerater up to 1 week.
