Home Made Stuffing

- 1 1/2 cups of chopped onion shopping list
- 1 1/2 cups of diced celery shopping list
- 1 Stick of butter OR 1/2 cup of margarine shopping list
- 1 Teaspoon of poultry seasoning shopping list
- 1 Teaspoon of rubber sage shopping list
- 1 Teaspoon of salt shopping list
- A dash of ground black pepper shopping list
- 1/2 Cup of water or chicken broth (I prefer the chicken broth but you can use either) shopping list
- 8 Cups of dried bread crumbs (10 to 12 slices of bread, cubed and *dried over night) shopping list
- * If you dont want to leave the bread over night toast the bread in the toaster, it works just as well :) And is alot faster. shopping list
How to make it
- Put the butter onion and celery in medium skillet
- Cook on medium heat until the onion and celery are tender
- Stir in all of the seasonings
- Cook for 2 to 5 minutes
- Put the bread cubes in to a large bowl then add the skillet mixture (onion, celery, and spices) , then add the water (or chicken broth)
- Toss all of this togeather to mix and enjoy :)
