Make You Skinny Chicken Parmesan

- * 4 Boneless skinless chicken Breasts shopping list
- * 1 cup whole wheat flour shopping list
- * ½ tsp Fresh cracked black pepper shopping list
- * ½ tsp kosher salt shopping list
- * ½ tsp garlic powder shopping list
- * 3 egg whites, beaten shopping list
- * 1 cup Flax Meal shopping list
- * ¼ cup Fresh grated parmesan cheese shopping list
- * ½ tsp Fresh cracked black pepper shopping list
- * ½ tsp kosher salt shopping list
- * 1 tsp italian seasoning shopping list
- * 1 small can tomato sauce shopping list
- * ½ cup Low-fat part-skim mozzarella cheese, shredded shopping list
How to make it
- 1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
- 2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a Sil-pat.
- 3. Place chicken breasts between waxed paper or cling wrap and pound until thin.
- 4. In one bowl, mix Wheat flour, ½ tsp salt, ½ tsp garlic powder, ½ tsp pepper and stir.
- 5. Place egg whites in a second bowl and beat lightly.
- 6. In a third bowl, mix Flax meal, fresh Parmesan, ½ tsp pepper, ½ tsp salt and Italian Seasoning.
- 7. Dip chicken in flour, then egg whites, then Flax meal. Make sure to coat both sides.
- 8. Place on the baking sheet and repeat with remaining chicken.
- 9. Put chicken in pre-heated oven for 25 minutes.
- 10. Remove from oven, top each with 2 TBS tomato sauce and 2 TBS Mozzarella.
- 11. Place back in the oven for 5 minutes to heat the cheese and warm the sauce.
- 12. Place under broiler for 1 minute if you wish to brown the cheese.
