How to make it

  • Combine all ingredients, except ribs, in a resealable gallon size plastic bag See Photo. Squish to combine. Add ribs and refrigerate for at least 3 hours up to overnight. See Photo
  • Prepare barbeque. Remove ribs from marinade, discard the marinade.
  • Grill ribs over direct heat until they reach desired doneness...mine usually take 3-4 minutes per side.
Combine the marinade.   Close

    it will taste superb - the brown sugar especially gives a good flavour to pork so it will do the same with lamb i am sure.

    i am going to make this with lamb ribs - had a 1/2 sheep from a farm supplier and there are heaps of nice meaty ribs for bbq use - i might even use some of that thick mint sauce for bit of extra zing (only because i love the stuff on lamb :-) )
