French Brioche

- 1/3 cup warm water shopping list
- 3 eggs shopping list
- 2 egg yolks shopping list
- 3/4 cup butter, softened shopping list
- 3 1/3 cups all purpose flour shopping list
- 1/4 cup white sugar shopping list
- 2 teaspoons yeast shopping list
- 1 egg white shopping list
- 2 tablespoons water shopping list
How to make it
- 1. Place the first 7 ingredients in bread machine in suggested by your manufacturer.
- 2. Select dough cycle.
- 3. Turn out finished dough onto a lightly floured surface and knead 5 - 10 times.
- 4. Seperate with into 2-3 pieces to make a braid or into eight pices and shape into balls.
- 5. When you have shaped the balls place them into a greased loaf pan, on top of each other or if you want to braid then braid and place on baking sheet to rise in a warm place until doubled in size.
- 6. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 dgerees C) Whisk together 1 egg white and the 2 tablespoons water and brush onto the top of the loaf.
- 7. Bake in the preheated oven until deep golden brown, about 20 minutes.
