Upside-down Pineapple Cake

- 3 tbsp. butter shopping list
- 19 oz. canned slice pineapple shopping list
- ¼ cup of maraschino cherries shopping list
- ½ cup of crushed almonds (walnuts, pecans your choice) shopping list
- ½ cup of grated coconut shopping list
- ½ cup brown sugar shopping list
- 3 tbsp. milk shopping list
- 1/3 cup of butter shopping list
- 1 cup of sugar shopping list
- 2 eggs shopping list
- 2 cups of all-purpose flour shopping list
- 1 tbsp. of baking powder shopping list
- Pinch of slat shopping list
- ¾ cup of milk shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 350 F
- Melt 3 tbsp. of butter in a bowl
- Pour into baking pan and spread it to cover the bottom
- Arrange the pineapples and sprinkle the nuts over it
- Place a cherry inside each slice of pineapple set aside
- In a bowl mix coconut, brown sugar and 3 tbsp. of milk and pour over the pineapple set aside
- Cream 1/3 cup of butter and gradually add 1 cup of sugar, blend in the eggs one by one then add the ¾ cup of milk in a thin stream while stirring.
- Add flour, baking powder and salt and stir well
- Pour batter over the pineapple and bake for 50 minute
- *wait until it’s warm (not cooled) to turn over*
