Traverse City Fudge

- 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk shopping list
- 3 cups vanilla baking chips (or white chocolate) shopping list
- 1 tsp vanilla or almond flavoring shopping list
- dash salt shopping list
- 1 cup dried cherries or cherry flavored dried cranberries shopping list
- 1/2 cup chopped English walnuts or black walnuts shopping list
How to make it
- 1. Combine sweetened condensed milk and baking chips in a saucepan over boiling water (double boiler). Stir occasionally until chips are melted.
- 2. Take off of heat and add in flavoring, salt, dried cherries and chopped nuts.
- 3. Spoon into a buttered or foil lined 9x9-inch pan. Cool until firm.
- 4. Lift the foil sling out of the pan and onto a cutting board. Cut fudge into 1" squares; store covered at room temperature.
