Savory Empanadas Picadillas

- 1 cooked pork chop, ground (5 oz) shopping list
- 3 green onions, chopped shopping list
- 1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon shopping list
- 1/4 tsp. ground cumin shopping list
- 3/4 cup salsa shopping list
- 1/4 cup seedless raisins shopping list
- salt to taste shopping list
- 4 canned biscuits shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
- Saute cooked ground pork and green onions briefly until soft. Add the spices, salsa, and raisins. Salt to taste. (If using ground pork OR ground turkey, brown in skillet with onion, drain if necessary and then add the other ingredients.)
- Roll or press a biscuit into a 5"x6" circle. Top with 1/4 cup meat filling. Fold over in half and seal edges with fork tines.
- Place on lightly greased cookie sheet; repeat with remaining biscuits. Bake for 12-15 min. or until brown.
- Cool 5 min. before removing from cookie sheet. Serve the empanadas hot or cold.
