How to make it

  • Toast the walnuts for 7-8 minutes in the oven at 375 degrees. Set aside to cool nearby. Using a heavy saucepan, melt the sugar stirring constantly until sugar is melted to a medium amber color. Quickly stir in the nuts and coat them in the melted sugar. Pour out onto parchment paper and use two forks to separate. Sprinkle with salt while warm. Store in airtight container for snacks or salads, etc.
