Kugal Grams Style Recipe

Kugal Grams Style Recipe
Ahhhhh, sweet sweet Kugal. Now, I am a convert when it comes to kugal like Spam. When I make this it takes only few of us to polish this off. You can eat this as a side dish for a meal (ham etc..) We eat this as a light dinner meal. Or dessert.

Does this look good? Yeah! / Nope
Ingredients
  • YUMMMMM!
  • 1 POUND MEDIUM EGG NOODLES COOKED DO NOT RINSE!
  • ¼ POUND SWEET BUTTER
  • 1 CUP SUGAR
  • 6 EGGS BEATEN
  • 2 C. WHOLE MILK ( I USUALLY ADD 3 CUPS FOR MORE CUSTARD SOMETIMES I USE A LITTLE SOUR CREAM)
  • 1 TSP VANILLA
  • 1 POUND CREAMED COTTAGE CHEESE (don't use the low fat for this, lol, you can but flavor changes)
  • 15 OZ CRUSHED PINEAPPLE DRAINED
  • ¼ cup RAISENS (optional)

Directions
  1. COOK NOODLES, DO NOT RINSE.
  2. IN LARGE BOWL PLACE NOODLES ADD BUTTER AND SUGAR.
  3. WISK TOGETHER EGGS, MILK, VANLLA, CHEESE, PINEAPPLE, RAISINS. POUR OVER NOODLES, MIX. POUR INTO 9 X 13 BUTTERED DISH.
  4. SPRINKLE CINNAMON
  5. EAT HOT OR COLD
  6. I sometimes use 3 cups milk to make it more custard in the kugal.
  7. I LIKE TO EAT WITH EXTRA SOUR CREAM AND SUGAR ON TOP.
  8. YOU CAN SERVE THIS WITH PIE FILLING AS WELL ON THE SIDE IF YOU EAT THIS AS A MEAL OR DESSERT.
  9. NOODLES: YOU CAN USE FINE EGG NOODLES AS WELL. IT GIVES IT A DIFFERENT TEXTURE. I WOULD RECOMMEND TRYING IT THIS WAY FIRST WITH THE MEDIUM EGG NOODLES.
