Wholewheat Fusili Pasta With Green Pesto And Cabbage

- Fusili Pasta- 1 cup shopping list
- Green Pesto- 2 spoons shopping list
- Cabbage- 1 cup shopping list
- red onions (optional), 1/2 of a small one shopping list
- Pinch of thyme shopping list
- hot pepper (scotch bonnet) for the spicy tongue! shopping list
- butter/margarine 1/2 teaspoon shopping list
- salt to taste! shopping list
How to make it
- Bring your pasta to a boil. Ensure you have boiled the hot water prior to adding to the pasta.
- After 7 mins exactly (for whole wheat pasta), drain the water and rinse in cold water
- Put pasta back in sauce pan and add your butter, salt and thyme
- When your pasta has become warm again, add your pesto
- Stir to make sure it has covered all the contours and awesome corners of your Fusili
- Add your cabbage and red onions.
- Oh, and if you're feeling spicy, add your scotch bonnets!
- Add salt to taste
- Viola!
