How to make it

  • Bring your pasta to a boil. Ensure you have boiled the hot water prior to adding to the pasta.
  • After 7 mins exactly (for whole wheat pasta), drain the water and rinse in cold water
  • Put pasta back in sauce pan and add your butter, salt and thyme
  • When your pasta has become warm again, add your pesto
  • Stir to make sure it has covered all the contours and awesome corners of your Fusili
  • Add your cabbage and red onions.
  • Oh, and if you're feeling spicy, add your scotch bonnets!
  • Add salt to taste
  • Viola!
