How to make it

  • Crush the amaretto biscuits in a large Ziplock bag with a rolling pin until finely crumbled, but not to powder.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the Mascarpone, whipping cream, sugar and Amaretto.
  • Beat on low speed until combined and then on high speed until very thick.
  • In a glass bowl, layer crumbs and cream, finishing with a few crumbs on top for decoration.
  • Chill well, at least 3 hours, before serving.
  • Can also be frozen; in that case, remove from freezer 15 minutes before serving.
