Eggless Cake

- 3/4cup-butter(unsalted) shopping list
- 3/4cup-sugar shopping list
- 3/4cup-milk powder(i used Nestle's Everyday Dairy Whitener) shopping list
- 1-1/2cups-Plain flour shopping list
- 1/2tsp-baking powder shopping list
- 1/2 tsp-baking soda shopping list
- milk/water as required according to desired consistency(at room temperature) shopping list
- 1/2tsp-vanilla essence shopping list
- 1/4 tsp salt shopping list
How to make it
- 1.Grease & line a cake tin with parchment paper & keep aside
- 2.Sift the flour along with the baking powder & baking soda & salt
- 3.Cream the butter and sugar together until light & fluffy
- 4.add the milk powder and vanilla essence & mix well
- 5.add the sifted flour
- 6. pour in the water or milk, half cup at a time so that the batter doesnt become runny.Stop mixing when the batter is smooth & thick without any lumps.Do not overmix
- 7. Pour into the prepared pan & bake for about 30-35 mins @180C.Cool & decorate as desired
