How to make it

  • 1.Grease & line a cake tin with parchment paper & keep aside
  • 2.Sift the flour along with the baking powder & baking soda & salt
  • 3.Cream the butter and sugar together until light & fluffy
  • 4.add the milk powder and vanilla essence & mix well
  • 5.add the sifted flour
  • 6. pour in the water or milk, half cup at a time so that the batter doesnt become runny.Stop mixing when the batter is smooth & thick without any lumps.Do not overmix
  • 7. Pour into the prepared pan & bake for about 30-35 mins @180C.Cool & decorate as desired
