French Toast Casserole Recipe
Impress your guests with this super easy brunch casserole. You can even save yourself extra and put some ice cream on top as a dessert!!! Start the night before.

Ingredients
  • 1 loaf French Bread, cut into 1-inch cubes (I guess about 10 cups)
  • 8 Eggs
  • 3 cups Whole Milk
  • 3 teaspoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Raisins or Craisins, optional
  • 3/4 tespoon salt
  • Topping:
  • 2 tablespoons butter, cubed
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • Maple Syrup, optional

Directions
  1. Place bread cubes in a greased 13x9x2 inch baking dish.
  2. In a mixing bowl, beat eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla, raisins or craisins if desired, and salt.
  3. Pour over bread cubes.
  4. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
  5. Remove from the refrigerator 30 minutes before baking.
  6. Dot with butter.
  7. Combine sugar and cinnamon.
  8. Sprinkle over the top.
  9. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 45-50 minutes, or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.
  10. Let stand 5 minutes before cutting and serving.
  11. Serve with syrup if desired.
