Kids Chews Chocolate

- 1 cup whole almonds shopping list
- ¼ cup whole peanuts shopping list
- ¼ cup cocoa powder shopping list
- ½ tsp sea salt shopping list
- 1 tbsp vanilla shopping list
- ¼ cup honey shopping list
- 1/3 cup rolled oats shopping list
How to make it
- In a food processor, finely chop (but do not grind) almonds and peanuts. See Photo
- Pulse in cocoa and salt, then pour in honey and vanilla and pulse in. See Photo
- Add oats and run until a doughy mix forms. See Photo
- With your hands, make small balls or shapes out of the “dough” and place on parchment-paper lined trays. See Photo
- Chill a few hours (best if overnight) before enjoying.
Variation:
- To add extra protein to the mixture, add 2 tbsp of whey isolate protein powder or (for dairy-free) soy protein isolate to the cocoa mixture. See Photo
