How to make it

  • In a food processor, finely chop (but do not grind) almonds and peanuts. See Photo
  • Pulse in cocoa and salt, then pour in honey and vanilla and pulse in. See Photo
  • Add oats and run until a doughy mix forms. See Photo
  • With your hands, make small balls or shapes out of the “dough” and place on parchment-paper lined trays. See Photo
  • Chill a few hours (best if overnight) before enjoying.
  • Variation:

  • To add extra protein to the mixture, add 2 tbsp of whey isolate protein powder or (for dairy-free) soy protein isolate to the cocoa mixture. See Photo
