Bean Pie

- 1 LB ground beef shopping list
- 1 Medium onion shopping list
- 1 Cup of Shredded or Grated sharp cheddar cheese shopping list
- 1 Can of Vegitarian baked beans shopping list
- 3-4 Dashes of worcestershire sauce shopping list
- 1 teaspoon of vegetable oil (canola, evo will work) shopping list
- 1 Pack of Ready Made pie crust (Contains 2 Crusts) or If your like me you make your own pie crust for savory not sweet for this dish shopping list
How to make it
- Pre-Heat Oven to 350F
- Heat Skillet over Medium to Medium High Heat
- Add Oil and heat
- Add Onion and cook Onion down till tender and transulcent
- Add Beef and Brown
- Once Beef is Cooked Drain off Fat from Beef
- Add Beans, Cheese, Worcestershire Sacue and stir well and cheese is melted in
- Place one Crust in a 9 Inch Pie Pan
- Add Beef, Bean and Cheese mixture to Pie Pan
- Cover with Additional Crust
- Press sides together to seal into a pie
- Use Sharp Knife to Vent Top with your Initals or Simply a few Lines or prick lightly around with fork to vent.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until Crust is cooked through and browned
- Let cool for 10 minutes
- Slice Pie into Eight Pieces
- Serve over Mashed Potatoes and Pour Brown Gravy over the whole thing.
- Note: THIS IS NOT A STIFF PIE SHOULD BE MESSY! However, put the leftovers in the firdge and it will stiffen up, served great cold as well!
- Serving Suggestion: Favorite Brown Sauce or Ketchup
