Spicy Corn Bisque With Smoked Sausage

- 1 (16 ounce) package of smoked sausage cut into slices shopping list
- 1 medium onion, chopped shopping list
- 1/4 cup butter shopping list
- 1/4 cup all purpose flour shopping list
- 1/8 teaspoon black pepper shopping list
- 1 (15 ounce) can whole kernel corn drained shopping list
- 2 cans evaporated milk fat fre shopping list
- 3 cups of diced potatoes uncooked shopping list
- 1/2 tablespoon red pepper flakes shopping list
- Chopped parsley and shredded cheddar cheese for topping (optional) shopping list
How to make it
- 1. Place sausage, onion, butter, pepper, corn, evaporated milk, potatoes, red pepper flakes in the pan over medium heat and then mix the flour with 2 tablespoons of the milk into a paste and then add to the saucepan.
- 2. Just let it come to a boil reduce heat and simmer until the potatoes are cooked!
- 3. Serve topped with some cheese and parsley.
