- 500g Rohu fish, cut into medium-sized pieces shopping list
- 1 onion shopping list
- 1 bowl curd , beaten properly to avoid lumps shopping list
- 1 cup mustard oil shopping list
- 2 tbsp ginger-garlic paste shopping list
- salt, as per taste shopping list
- sugar, as per taste shopping list
- 1 tsp turmeric powder shopping list
- 1tsp red chilli powder shopping list
- 1 cup curd shopping list
- water shopping list
- 1 tsp cardamom(elaichi) powder (roasted dry and ground) shopping list
- 1 tsp cinnamon(dalchini) powder (roasted dry and ground) shopping list
- 1tsp cloves (laung) powder (roasted dry and ground) shopping list
How to make it
- Fry the fish pieces in oil with salt and turmeric powder.
- Add oil to another pan and add ginger-garlic paste, salt, sugar, turmeric powder, red chilli powder .
- Add curd and stir nicely. There should be no lumps.Add little water.
- When the gravy starts boiling, add the fried fish pieces.
- Add ground elaichi, cloves, cinnamon.
