Meat & Potato Pie

- 2 T shortening shopping list
- 1-1/2c biscuit/baking mix shopping list
- 3-4 T cold water shopping list
- FILLING shopping list
- 1-1/2lb ground beef or vinison shopping list
- 1 medium onion chopped shopping list
- 1 small can cream of mushroom shopping list
- 1 can sliced carrots drained shopping list
- 1 (8oz)can sliced mushrooms drained shopping list
- 2 cups potatoes already prepared with 1/2 c sour cream shopping list
- 1 c shredded cheese shopping list
How to make it
- Cut the shortening wtih biscuit mix
- Add water and mix until forms a ball of dough
- Roll out and place in a pie plate and trim
- Set aside
- In skillet cook beef and onion until done and drain
- Stir in soup and seasonongs and bring to a boil
- Reduce heat simmer uncovered for 5 minutes
- Pour into pie shell
- Top with carrots and mushrooms
- Spread potatoes on top
- Bake uncovered at 425 for 15 minutes
- Reduce to 350 and Bake 15 minutes longer until golden
- Sprinkle with cheese and let stand 5-10 minutes
