Ingredients
  • 3 tablespoons of butter
  • 1/ 1/2 cups of chopped celery
  • 1 1/2 cups of chopped onions
  • 1/2 cup of ground almonds
  • 1 cup of ground walnuts
  • 1 cup of toasted crushed cashews
  • 2 tablespoons of oats
  • 1/4 cup of sesame seeds
  • 2 tablespoons of sunflower seeds
  • 1 lb. small curd cottage cheese, drained
  • 1/2 cup of cooked brown rice, cooled
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons of pepper
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon of herb blend-for vegetables
  • 1 teaspoon of Mrs. Braggs
  • 3 eggs

Directions
  1. Saute onion and celery in butter until tender.
  2. Combine remaining ingredients in a large bowl.
  3. Add celery and onions.
  4. Blend very well.
  5. Pour into buttered loaf pan and bake at 400 degrees for one hour.
  6. Gravy was made with one can of tomato sauce, mixed with one clove of minced garlic that was sauteed with one chopped onion, adding 1/2 tablespoon of sugar and a generous tablespoon of redwine vinegar.
