Mexican Haystacks

- 1 lb ground beef shopping list
- 1 onion, diced shopping list
- 4 teaspoons taco seasoning (homemade or store bought) shopping list
- 1- 15oz can tomato sauce shopping list
- Circle tortilla rounds chips shopping list
- sour cream shopping list
- lettuce shopping list
- cheddar and mexican mix cheese shopping list
- chunky salsa shopping list
- hotsauce shopping list
How to make it
- Place groud beef and onion in pan and cook until done, drain excess grease. Add tomato sauce and taco seasoning bring to a simmer and remove from heat.
- To make the "haystacks" place a chips in bowl or plate in a pile. Sprinkle cheese over chips, place a scoop of meat over cheese. Top with salsa, lettuce, sour cream and hotsauce.

This is a great fast and an easy recipe and freezes well. This reminds me of my high school days when we had taco salads for lunch. Thanks!
