How to make it

  • Boil water and salt liberally. Cook pasta until al dente and drain, making sure to reserve 1 cup of pasta water.
  • Coat the bottom of the same pasta pot with olive oil and add onions and garlic. Saute until tender (3-5 minutes) and add tomatoes, artichoke, basil, oregano, red pepper, 1/2 cup of reserved pasta water and clam juice. Bring to a simmer and reduce heat to low. Once sauce reduces by half (15-20 min), add clams and shrimp. Once shrimp are cooked (around 5 minutes), add pasta and turn to coat.
  • Top with Parmesan cheese and enjoy!
