Ingredients

  • 1 cup shredded hard cheese (I generally use equal amounts of asiago, parmesan, and romano) shopping list
  • chili powder, garlic powder, pepper, and chipotle seasoning shopping list

How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 350. Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper or cover in foil then spray with Pam or similar product.
  • Mix cheeses and spices in a bowl. Pile 1 to 2 Tbsp of the cheese mixture in mounds on the cookie sheet, leaving 3 to 4 inches between each pile. Flatten with spatula or hand. Bake 6 to 10 minutes until brown and crispy but not burned.
  • Remove from oven, place on paper towel, dab off any grease you see, and let cool for a few minutes.
  • By the way, I've played with this basic idea, making crisps that are more dessert-like by adding cinnamon, nutmeg, etc. and those are excellent, also.
