How to make it
- Preheat oven at 375* Lightly grease and flour 9 inch baking pan.
- In bowl cream oil, sugar, and eggs, beat after each addition. Add flour, baking soda, salt, and vanilla, you can add the apples to the mix or spread apples on top and press apples into mixture. I prefer the apples on top.
- The mixture will be thick in consistancy. Place in oven and bake for 1 - 1 1/2 hour. Till knife inserted comes out clean. Let cool on cake rack, serve with powder sugar sprinkled on top. Great warm or cold
