Cedar-planked Salmon

                    - 1 medium plank soaked in water for at least one hour but better if 2 or 3hours.i put mine in the kitchen sink and then i put a heavy can in plastic bag and weigh it down shopping list
 - 4 skinless salmon fillets about 6 oz each shopping list
 - 1 c fresh dill, chopped shopping list
 - 2 Tbsp bbq spice (see below) shopping list
 - 1/2 c shallots, chopped shopping list
 - 2 clove garlic, minced shopping list
 - 2 green onions,finely chopped shopping list
 - 2 Tbsp planking spice (see below) shopping list
 - 1 lemon , juiced shopping list
 - 2 Tbsp olive oil shopping list
 - sea salt shopping list
 - 1 lemon shopping list
 - BONEDUST BBQ seasoning shopping list
 - 1/2 c paprika shopping list
 - 1/4 c chili powder shopping list
 - 3 Tbsp salt shopping list
 - 2 Tbsp ground coriander shopping list
 - 2 Tbsp garlic powder shopping list
 - 2 Tbsp sugar shopping list
 - 2 Tbsp curry powder shopping list
 - 2 Tbsp dry mustard powder shopping list
 - 1 Tbsp black pepper shopping list
 - 1 Tbsp dried basil shopping list
 - 1 Tbsp dried thyme shopping list
 - 1 Tbsp ground cumin shopping list
 - 1 Tbsp cayenne pepper shopping list
 - PLANKING spice shopping list
 - 1/2 c light brown sugar shopping list
 - 1/4 c coarsely ground pepper shopping list
 - 1/4 c kosher salt shopping list
 - 2 Tbsp mustard seeds cracked shopping list
 - 1 Tbsp dried dill weed shopping list
 - 1 Tbsp dill seed shopping list
 - 1 Tbsp coriander seed shopping list
 - 1 Tbsp lemon pepper seasoning shopping list
 - 3 Tbsp granulated onion powder shopping list
 - 2 tsp granulated garlic powder shopping list
 
How to make it 
                    - Preheat your grill to medium -high.
 - Season salmon with BBQ seasoning and set aside.
 - Mix together the dill, shallots, garlic, green onions, planking spice, lemon juice, and olive oil.
 - Spread the mixture evenly over the salmon fillets.
 - Season the plank with sea salt and place on grill and close the lid. Heat for 3 - 5 mins till the plank starts to crackle.
 - Open lid and place the salmon fillets on the plank.
 - Close the lid and plank-grill for 12 - 15 mins until cooked or until salmon flakes .
 - Remove plank from grill and allow to cool one minute.
 - Squeeze the lemon over top and serve.
 - * There are so many flavored planks out there... oak, maple, cherry or apple ...so don't just stick to cedar..Apple is so good..my fav!!
 - *If your plank catches fire which it can and I have had this happen, spray with a spray water bottle...be careful of not spraying the salmon.
