  • Calzones - recipe from Sara Roadman
  • I buy pizza dough and separate it into two balls. i roll them into flat circle, i put in olive oil (brush on dough), add on top: marinara, mozzerella , can do parmesan too, basil, and chicken sausage (cut up). then fold and close calzone. cut a few slits on top (like with pie). pinch it closed with fork. brush olive oil on top too. Follow directions on pizza dough bag for oven temp and cook time. i usually bake directly on pizza pan/ cookie pan.

    Yes I cook the sausage and then I add it to the calzone and wrap it up
