How to make it

  • 1. Heat the oil in a pan over medium hih heat add the onions and the garlic and cook for about 2 minutes.
  • 2. add the chicken and season with the tumeric, chilli powder, and salt, and cook gently scraping the bottom of the pan frequently and turning the chicken.
  • 3. Put in the tomatoes and cover the pan and simmer over medium heat for 20 minutes remove lid and simmer for another 10 minutes and let the excess liquid evaporate.
  • 4. add the butter, cumin,coriander, ginger and cilantro and simmer for about another 5 - 7 minutes
