How to make it

  • Combine egg, mustard powder, salt, sugar, cayenne pepper, and olive oil in blender or immersion blender and blend on high until well combined.
  • Slowly add 1/2 cup of vegetable oil.
  • Add the lemon juice or vinegar
  • Once the mixture is well combined, slowly add the remaining 1/2 cup vegetable oil until completely mixed
  • Mixture will be thinner than store-bought mayo, but will thicken in fridge
