Best Smokey Meatloaf

- 1.5 pounds lean ground beef shopping list
- 2/3 cup Italian bread crumbs shopping list
- 1 small white onion, chopped fine shopping list
- 1 tsp onion salt shopping list
- 1 tsp Zatarain's Big and Zesty garlic and herb creole seasoning shopping list
- 1 egg shopping list
- dash Smokehouse ground black pepper shopping list
- 1/2 cup half and half shopping list
- dash garlic powder shopping list
- dash salt shopping list
- dash parsley flakes shopping list
- dash or two of hickory liquid smoke shopping list
- Smokey sauce for Meatloaf shopping list
- 1 to 1. 5 cups ketsup shopping list
- 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar or apple cider vinegar shopping list
- 3 to 4 tablespoons Glory's Southern style Sweet Vidalia hot sauce shopping list
- 1/4 cup dark brown sugar shopping list
- dash parsley flakes shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a bowl, mix together all ingredients, making sure to mix well. Mold into desired shape and place in baking pan. Bake 15 to 20 minutes. Top with sauce below and return to oven and continue to cook another 30 minutes. Total cook time should be between 45 to 55 minutes. Some ovens may require longer cook time. Just check to make sure it is completely cooked. Remove from oven and let sit 3 to 5 minutes before cutting.
- Directions for sauce:
- Mix together and spread over meatloaf(you can also make another batch of this on the stove top to serve extra for dipping. It is really good.
