Carne Asada
From sassy_sicilian 13 years agoIngredients
- 1 Family pack of Skirt or flank steak shopping list
- 1 Whole orange, cut into slices shopping list
- 1 Whole lemon, cut into slices shopping list
- 1/2 Cup Dry Carne Asada seasoning (I recommend the one from Hottinger's meats in Chino, CA) shopping list
- 1/2 Cup olive oil shopping list
How to make it
- In a Ziploc bag or Large Container with a tight seal lid, layer the Olive Oil, Orange and Lemon Slices and Meat, sprinkled generously with the Seasoning. Close and refrigerate overnight or at least 3 hours. Remove and Grill, just one minute on each side. Remove from grill and let rest at least 5 min, then slice into strips.
- We love to serve them with black or refried beans, fresh shredded lettuce, tomatoes, sour cream and hot sauce wrapped up in a warm flour tortilla. Enjoy!
