Ingredients

How to make it

  • Bring water to boil. Add tea bags and steep for 5 minutes. Discard tea bags. Pour the tea into a gallon size pitcher, and cool.. When completely cool, pour in the lemonade. Stir, and chill.
  • When ready to serve, pour the desired amount of tea-lemonade into a container fitted with a spill proof lid. (I use a mason jar.) Then add 1-4 tablespoons of the simple syrup, depending upon how sweet you want the tea-lemonade. Put the lid on the container and shake vigorously for a few minutes until a foam appears. Pour into a tall glass that has been filled with ice. Serve with a straw.
  • Makes one gallon.
  • SIMPLE SYRUP
